Chris + Casie | Kansas City Spring Engagement

lately i’ve been aching to take photos, just like i used to, without any expectations, without any rules or deadlines, without any plans. it’s amazing being able to take photos for a living, i really think it’s the coolest thing ever. but sometimes i get stuck.. taking photos for a living, and don’t take them for myself. i don’t exercise my creativity & I’m left taking photos that I love, but aren’t inspiring me. 
so i challenged myself. take photos that i want to take, just because. stop worrying about booking clients, or meeting expectations [mostly mine..] and just go have fun. 

and really.. it’s been the beginning of something new & so fun. I went out with Chris & Casie, and they let me do what I love to do.
