Rob + Vicki | Kansas City Autumn Engagement

A few weeks ago Vicki texted me with some inspiration & ideas for her & Rob’s Save the Date for their wedding in the spring. I saw them & it was like a piece of my heart connected with hers. I could see what she was seeing & I needed to be a part of it.
We made a plan & honestly, this shoot was more than just me taking photos of a couple who need engagement photos. It’s easy to get caught in task list of wedding planning & treat everything like a check off the list. But Vicki was intentionally choosing to infuse her creativity & their relationship in every single part of their wedding. There’s room for freedom & creativity in that. There’s emotions flowing & when you take time to think about the fact that you’re in love & getting to spend the rest of your life with your person… & really, that’s when I come alive. That’s when I’m able to create my best work, by allowing you to just be you.
